Social media platform Twitter continues to work to bring Clubhouse-like voice chat rooms feature Spaces to the desktop version.
The popularity of the Clubhouse app has forced tech companies to create alternatives to keep users connected to their platforms. One of them, Twitter, introduced its Clubhouse rival Spaces on Android and iOS. Now it is preparing to bring it to the desktop.
It is not clear when it will be available
Twitter was rumored to be working on a web version for Spaces. As reported by The Verge, the company has started testing how this feature will appear on the desktop. A developer has published some designs of how Spaces might look on the web. According to the shared screenshot, the Twitter Spaces for the web section will look the same as on the mobile phone.
Twitter’s Spaces feature is expected to work on the desktop version as well as on mobile devices. Remember, Twitter Spaces offers real-time audio conversations, response emojis, the ability to share Tweets, automatic captions, and more. There is no exact information on the date when the desktop version of Spaces, which is allowed to speak with 11 people, including the host, will be available.
