TIME Magazine announces that it will accept payments with Bitcoin

Time, the world’s most famous magazine, has now announced its support for Bitcoin after the NFT step. Time will buy BTC. In addition, users can subscribe to the magazine with BTC.

TIME Magazine, one of the world’s most respected policy and news magazines, took a historic step towards Bitcoin adoption, as Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein announced on April 12.

Michael Sonnenshein stated that TIME magazine has made a series of initiatives against Bitcoin. Sonnenshein announced that TIME has first partnered with Grayscale to publish a series of educational cryptocurrency videos to be released this summer. However, TIME will keep Bitcoin as a reserve currency on its balance sheet and thus join among the giant companies holding BTC as reserve money, such as MicroStrategy and Tesla.

Finally, Keith Grossman, who has served as TIME President since July 2019, will be paid in Bitcoin.

As the last and most important development, TIME magazine announced that they have recruited a new CFO who is familiar with Bitcoin and will then accept Bitcoin payments for TIME subscriptions.
