AdDuplex shared the latest statistics on usage rates of Windows 10 operating system versions. The research company says it has collected data from more than 70,000 computers running Windows 10 for analysis .
As of the end of April, the most popular version stands out as the May 2020 Update (2004), which was installed on 40.6% of computers . Just behind it is the October 2020 Update (20H2) with a 40.1% usage rate.
November 2019 Update (1909) in decline
Third place is in the hands of the November 2019 Update (1909) , which currently holds an 11.1% share. However, this version of the operating system is in decline and the support period will end on May 11, 2021 . Microsoft advises users to upgrade to a newer version by warning about this issue .
The May 2019 Update (version 1903) is ranked fourth in popularity with a 3.3% share . Fifth and sixth places are shared by versions 1803 (1.4%) and 1809 (1%), respectively .
