Starlink Internet Coming to Caravans, Ships and Airplanes

SpaceX, which filed an application with the power FCC last Friday, plans to bring the Starlink internet to caravans, ships and planes.

If you remember, with the news we shared last month, we stated that SpaceX is planning to provide telephone service with Starlink satellites. After all these events, SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, applied for a new permit last Friday. In this application related to Starlink internet, we see that the company plans to provide internet for vehicles on the move.

According to the application dated March 5, we witness that the company carries out some studies in order to provide broadband internet service for planes and ships as well as land vehicles in the USA.

Aiming to provide broadband internet service to users even on the move thanks to Starlink satellites, the company draws attention to the fact that this service will be limited to the USA for now.

Elon Musk. Passenger Cars are Out of This Project

After this patent application, Elon Musk, the company’s CEO, made a number of statements on Twitter, and announced that passenger vehicles will not be included in this project. Stating that Starlink will not come to personal vehicles for now, Musk stated that this application is for planes, ships, large trucks and RVs.
