A new attorney joins Ripple’s legal team to defend company chairman Brad Garlinghouse in SEC lawsuit
Attorney James K. Filan, who frequently reports on Ripple ‘s legal defense in the SEC case , tweeted that a new attorney has joined the Ripple team: Nicole Tatz of the law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Tatz will represent the interests of CEO Brad Garlinghouse.
According to the law firm’s website, Tatz focuses on litigation and enforcement. A new lawyer joined the Ripple team, while one of the SEC lawyers left the battlefield. As previously reported, senior litigation counsel to securities agency Dugan Bliss has left the SEC after working for more than a decade. Currently, it is seeking permission from the court to withdraw from working on the Ripple case.
