Oppo confirmed with a visual that it is working on a new smartwatch. Oppo Watch 2 will also feature a secondary processor called Apollo 4s.
Oppo is preparing to offer a successor to its smart watch, which it launched last year. The company has confirmed that they are working on the Oppo Watch 2 series with the images it shared . The images also include two different dial structures.
It will be powered by Snapdragon Wear 4100
In the images shared by the Chinese technology giant, it is seen that the upcoming smartwatch will have a circular dial option as well as a similar dial structure to the Oppo Watch introduced in March last year. The company also confirmed that it has partnered with Ambiq for the Apollo 4s chip, which promises long battery life as a secondary chipset .
Leaking information about the smart watch also began to emerge. According to the leaked information, the Oppo Watch 2 series will have two different size case options, 42mm and 46mm. The smartwatch will be powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset and will come with 16GB of internal storage.
The smartwatch, which is expected to be introduced in the second half of this year, will run ColorOS Watch in the Chinese market and Wear OS in the global market. Other leaked information includes that the smartwatch will feature a new Oppo Relax app, as well as a redesigned stress-sensing app and new watch interfaces.
