Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said he is not expecting a significant camera upgrade in the new iPhones, the largest screen model will offer a slight performance boost thanks to the higher aperture value.
TFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who we know for his accurate predictions about Apple products, said that the new smartphone series of the Cupertino company will be called iPhone 13, not iPhone 12s.
Experienced analyst says iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be released this year. The first three models will come with a 7P (seven component) wide angle lens with f / 1.6 aperture.
Sunny Optical’s lenses are being tested
The 7P wide-angle lens of the iPhone 13 Pro Max will offer an aperture of f / 1.5. Thus, it will perform better in low light conditions. It will also allow users to achieve better bokeh results.
Ming-Chi Kuo stated that lenses manufactured by Sunny Optical have been tested for use with the iPhone 13. If the quality control process is successfully completed, the 7P wide-angle lenses will be sent to LG Innotek for assembly in May.
