Chinese technology manufacturer Huawei will integrate the products of France-based Devialet, an audio technology company, into its new smart television models.
According to information from sources close to the industry, Huawei’s next generation smart television models will feature Devialet sound systems. The company’s new smart TVs are being developed under the code name Frea.
At first, it is stated that the series will be represented by at least two models, with a screen size of 75 and 85 inches. The resolution is not yet clear, but it will likely be 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K). According to new data, smart TVs will include a high-quality sound system developed by the French company Devialet. Founded in 2007 in Paris, this company specializes in high quality speakers and amplifiers.
Huawei – Devialet collaboration is not new
Devialet speakers will give future Huawei TVs a clear and natural sound. It is stated that in most cases, users won’t even need to connect their TV to an external audio system. Let us say that the cooperation between Huawei and Devialet is not new. The French company Devialet was responsible for creating sound systems for Huawei Sound X and Huawei Sound smart speakers.
Other features of the Frea family TVs have not been disclosed yet. The official presentation of smart television models is expected to take place in the next quarter.
