Huawei MateBook in the field with the most powerful AMD APUs

The Huawei MateBook 16 model offers Ryzen 7 5800H and Ryzen 5000H APU options, while extras such as fingerprint reader and expandable glass touchpad are available. 

The laptop series MateBook, which Huawei continues despite the heavy embargo conditions, takes the stage with one of the most powerful mobile processors this week. Huawei MateBook 16 is very ambitious with its design and hardware.

The Huawei MateBook 16 features AMD’s Zen 3 -based Ryzen 5000H APU models. Ryzen 7 5800H with 8 cores and 16 track units and Ryzen 5 5600H with 6 cores and 12 track units are offered as options. 45W TDP value can be forced up to 54W level. Supported by dual 75mm fans, 2mm heat pipes provide efficient cooling. 

Offering a resolution of 2520×1680 pixels on a 16-inch IPS screen, the MateBook 16 comes with 8-bit HDR and anti-vibration lighting. The brightness value of the screen can reach 300 nits. Aluminum alloy body weighs 2Kg. 

The model with 16GB dual channel RAM memory has a single NVMe SSD slot. The 84WHr battery is supported by a 135W charging adapter. Besides the backlit keyboard, there is an expandable glass touchpad and fingerprint reader. The Huawei MateBook 16, which also supports WiFi 6, has a starting price of 800 Euros.
