Facebook has been known for some time working on voice chat rooms. Finally, images of voice chat rooms that will come as a feature of Messenger Rooms have been released.
In February, there were reports that Facebook was working on a new voice chat rooms feature similar to Clubhouse, a new all-voice-based social network that has received huge attention recently. The new images show that the company plans to roll out this feature as part of Messenger Rooms.
Facebook’s sound rooms feature
A developer named Alessandro Paluzzi posted a screenshot of three options for Messenger Rooms. One of these options indicates that users can start a private sound room with their friends, while another option specifies the sound chambers that can be opened for the audience.
While Messenger Rooms allows up to 50 people to make live group video chats, the new feature will remove this limitation. When sound rooms are created, a wider number of participants will be reached.
Currently, the new sound chambers feature is in testing phase and there are no details about when this feature will be officially available to users.
