Apple introduced iPadOS 15: Here are its new features

Apple announced iPadOS 15 during the WWDC 2021 event. In the new version of the operating system, there are many new features that are eagerly awaited by the users.

Apple just announced iPadOS 15 with some big new features, and the company is confident this will be the best version of iPadOS ever.

Home screen widgets

With iPadOS 15, Apple brings widgets conveniently to the Home screen instead of downloading them to the sidebar . New, larger widgets will also be available thanks to the iPad’s larger screen . New People and Find My Widgets are also coming soon.

Much like iOS 14, Apple is bringing the App Library to iPadOS 15, making it available via the iPad’s Dock. You will also be able to hide all Home screens and get rid of apps that we do n’t want to use very often .

New multitasking

iPad multitasking enhancements are also coming, with a new multitasking view that gives users the option to choose between split-screen and other views while running multiple apps at the same time . Swiping down while in split screen mode also gives users a chance to open a different app. Apps can be shrunk to Shelf, a space to hold apps that can be quickly reopened as needed. also everything will work with keyboard shortcuts too.

Quick Notes

Quick Notes was launched as a quick and easy way to get a note from anywhere . Swipe from the bottom corner of the screen using an Apple Pencil and your note will appear ready to use. When you’re done, you can close the notes by swiping. You  can also use third-party apps, and Notes recognizes the apps you use and makes suggestions based on context.

Improvements to notes mean we can mention a person and have their details at hand, while a new activity view will show us what changes have been made to a note edited by multiple people . Labels are also added for easier note organization.

Auto-translation

Next is the translation . Translation app comes from iPhone. Users can now translate text system-wide , including inside photos and more . The iPad will even automatically detect which language is being used, allowing you to translate conversations in real time.

Swift Playgrounds

The new Swift Playgrounds allows users to create apps with documents on their iPad using SwiftUI . You can even submit your apps to the App Store from within Swift Playgrounds .
